Faith statements

Faith statements

1. Christianity is all about Jesus: Jesus is God, Jesus is the Son, and Jesus is the Holy Spirit. 2. Getting born again is a necessity, it comes from the recognition of sin and is done by faith in redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ. John 3, 3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Due to this complete renewal of a person, his story starts again, everything that belongs to the past, is cleansed through the blood of Jesus. 2. Cor. 5, 17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 3. By God's abundant grace in Christ, we are undeserved made just and righteous. Romans 3, 24 : Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. 4. The Bible is the living Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit. It is the perfect truth and has absolute authority. Hebrews 4.12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 5. We teach baptism by immersion, as a result of an autonomous decision, to accept the death of Jesus and to live with Him, and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Acts 2,38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 6. The Lord's Supper is a necessity, in what we manifest the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and receive life. 1 Cor. 11, 25-26: After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
